Preserving the Integrity of the Creation in Natural Products

God's Creation

A common theme here at The Sudsy Soapery Natural Products is the need preserve the integrity of the natural ingredients as the creator intended them. We believe that God has given us everything we need to live a healthful life in the natural resources that he has given to us. But, you may, and should question, “How do you know there is a Creator who actively designed all we see.”

Just a few generations ago it was a general consensus that a deity, whom most called God, must have created the natural world. There was certainly disagreements about the nature and name of that God, but not much argument among the general population that God must certainly exist. The theories of  Darwinism and evolution began to come upon the scene. Education that had been the role of families and communities was taken over by big government and evolution was taught in the public schools to one generation then another until eventually an unproven, unreproducible theory was ‘swallowed’ as fact.

Also swallowed during that time was the fact that since man was evolving farther and farther up, surely manmade chemicals must be better cosmetic, skincare and nutrition, hence the pesticides, fertilizers, sulfates and phthalates. So, we are drying our skin out, coating it with impermeable ‘moisturizers’ until is broken out like a pizza, shriveled up and wrinkled. Then, we paint on more impermeable ‘make-up’ to cover up the mess we’ve made.

This recent generation however has turned somewhat back to the ‘spiritual.’ It is becoming in vogue to practice meditation and yoga and to use ‘herbal’ remedies for healing. But can a random conglomeration of molecules (by the definition of the darwinists) really heal? Can all of the yoga or meditation exercises put any meaning at all into your life, if your existence is a random accident?

We believe the existence of the one true God can be proven on a personal level and that both healing and purpose can be found in that discovery. The first reason is quite self-explanatory. Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” The natural world cannot be explained by accident.

Our next passage we use is somewhat less known. Malachi 3:10-12,

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.  And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts."

The background of this passage is that the nation of Israel had fallen away from God into paganism, much like our modern generation. God sent a prophet to call them to return and their answer was perhaps a lot like ours might be today, “How?” God simply, through the prophet tells them to obey his command to give a tenth of all of their income back to him and he would prove himself to them to be the one true deity.

This message was for Israel, but I believe the principle stands today. Obey God’s known commands and precepts with a sincere desire to know him and he will make himself clear. Notice the blessings may not be financial, but they will be true wealth and just what a loving creator knows that you need.

Calvary

Do you desire to know God and to have intimate fellowship with him?

Recognize what has broken that fellowship with God in the first place. Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”  The God who created you loves you but is justly your authority and when you disobey his commands this is sin.

Realize that you cannot rectify the relationship on your own. How can anyone repay the creator for all he has done for us, let alone make payment for one’s sin? Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

In faith, call upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save you. Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Whether you walk in fellowship with God or not affects not only this life, but also your future after death. Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
