I’ve been using this bar for my beard, face, and hair for years now. Thinking about it; probably eight. I love this soap. Thank you sudsysoapery.

Missing the Round

I love the scent of pine tar, I'll use it all year round but mostly in the winter when my hair needs a little extra loving. My first pine tar bar, years ago, from Sudsy was round and specifically a shampoo bar. I am uncertain if the formula for this body+scalp bar changed, but it certainly doesn't get as sudsy as the round shampoo bar did, nor does it seem to replenish my hair as well. Works wonderful for my body, locking in a little extra moisture into the skin though. I recently completed a move and in packing found a lost round shampoo bar, so I was able to compare bars side by side. Very much prefer round bar for my hair (and would love to see it back), but the brick does a decent job with skin, so 3 stars.

Love it

First of all this is an attractive bar of soap and my favorite one so far from Sudsy Soapery. It has a natural earthy, herbal scent that I REALLY like. Sometimes I just pick up the bar to smell it haha. I also love the ingredients. It cleans well and I think my skin is better somehow using it. I tried it on my hair also and it left it squeaky clean, so definitely more of a clarifying shampoo!

Used to be better

The first time I bought this bar, it was in a smaller round puck shape and it worked great for my scalp. It also lasted several months. I was excited to see that they made the bar larger. I’m not sure sure If the formula changed but I did not get the same results for my scalp and it didn’t last long at all even with storage away from water between washes. It lasted about 1/3 as long as the round puck and got very soft very quickly. The round puck did not do this. I’m not sure why. It got so soft that I couldn’t use it as a bar on my head. I had to remove portions to lather in my hands. I was disappointed. The original product was the best shampoo bar I’ve ever used.
